The second round of the event series "HalbwissenAddieren" brought together experts from the field of AI. Together with the Institute for Science Dialogue, we hosted a colorful evening with a panel discussion and presentations on the topic of "AI and modern media".

IN THE CREATIVE ECONOMY
Experts from the field of media studies came together in a lively panel discussion. The audience was also invited to join in the discussion!
AI - Informing or misleading? The aim of the evening was to create a better understanding of the opportunities and risks of AI in the media world. Experts came together for a panel discussion. Anna Schlutter (author), Prof. Dr. Markus Lange-Hegermann (Professor of Mathematics and Data Science), Anna-Lena Büker (KreativInstitut.OWL) and Thorsten Engelhardt (Detmolds press office) shared their personal perspectives on the topic of AI.
Two keynote speeches provided further perspectives on the topic. Ifeoma Azike is one of the founders of the start-up aelai - she focused on the perspective of private individuals and how they can approach the topic of AI responsibly. In the second presentation, Conrad Dreyer (Research Associate, KreativInstitut) provided further insights into the technical functioning of AI in the media.
The evening was rounded off with two informative keynotes on the topic of AI.
