The digitalisation of musical practices is also reflected in the recording of music. The exploration of interaction with digital media and the experiences that musicians make in this context can also be transferred to other creative fields and contribute to the development of new digital practices and documentation methods. In the IdiN project (Interactive Digital Sheet Music in Music Theatre), I am researching music-related workflows in their trades in cooperation with the Deutsche Oper Berlin with the aim of digitising them. Methods of MCI (human-computer interaction) and user experience research are used for this purpose.

Matthias Nowakowski, researcher in the field of media informatics and data modeling at the Kreativ Institute OWL (KIO)
