The doors at the Kreativ Campus Detmold are open: On May 9, 2026, visitors of all ages were given a behind-the-scenes look at the KIO.

Upstairs, the XR Lab and the Spatial Audio and Arts Lab were ready for visitors

Would you rather meet Ernst von Bandel in XR or »dive« into a multimedia artwork? Our guests explored virtual worlds!

How does an anechoic chamber sound like?

Our anechoic chamber is a room with very low (sound) reflections. Our guests got a tour of the acoustic laboratory and we showed how acoustic tests and sound recordings are conducted.
