How can history, the present, and the future be connected? An exhibition on the theme of monuments — with a modern approach, including holograms and projections developed by KIO.

It has now been 150 years since the Hermann Monument was opened. To mark this anniversary, Lippisches Landesmuseum is presenting monuments in transition in its exhibition “Denk:Mal! 150 Years of the Hermann Monument” – with a focus on the Hermann Monument as a place of remembrance, perspective, and discussion... and we are part of it!
At the opening in November 2025, Jan Pieniak and Marc Schneider presented our holograms for the first time – to show how historical content and modern media technologies can be brought together.
The anniversary exhibition is open until April 26, 2026!
To integrate interactive experiences into the exhibition, our researchers developed the VR experience “RepArminius” – which they presented on WDR Lokalzeit on the opening day.
