What do you think of when you hear the word “hold”? This year, everything at Detmold Design Week revolved around this term. Three workshops on the topic of “hold” also took place at the KIO!

On May 13, we teamed up once again with the faculty of media production and the Kreativ Campus Detmold e.V. and put together a series of workshops!
Workshop 1
Hold thoughts, let go of thoughts - writing exercise and improvisational theater with Kreativ Campus Detmold e.V.
Workshop 2
Risography - Extraordinary prints in two color layers with the media production faculty
Workshop 3
Augmented Reality - with KIO's realmAR, the art prints were combined with AR
Risography posters extended with realmAR - the results of the workshops can be experienced through the windows of Bielefelder Straße 66!
Sound installations at Location 26
Those who listened carefully also found us at location 26. The sound installation “Frequenzgang” accompanied the industrial hall. The 8.1 Channel Audio was developed in our Spatial Audio and Arts Lab (SAAL)!

A compilation of independent soundscapes: they explore the possibilities of spatial sound design in completely different ways. Each piece provides an insight into the artistic and scientific work at the KreativInstitut.OWL.
